$1000 Sing-Off
now in progress! It's time once again to 'shake up and wake up' the local bar scene. Last year was a huge hit with some awesome talent! Entertainers and performers, pull out your bag of tricks and sing your way to $1000.

The Rules
- $4 Entry Fee, Per Entry.
- Must be at least 21 years in age to enter.
- The first 10 people who sign up each night get to compete.
- Qualifying (1 song), Bar Final (1 song), Semi-final (1 song), Finals (2 songs).
- May qualify to semi-finals once as Solo, Duet or Group.
- Winner receives $1000 the night of the finals.
Contest will consist of 10 calendar weeks of qualifying. Each location will hold a bar final at the end of qualifying to determine who proceeds to the semi-finals. Semi-finals/Finals sill be held on the same night, either Friday September 5th or Saturday September 6th, 2008. Exact location, time and date to be announced. Judged Categories - Vocal Quality - Do you hit the right notes? Is your timing smooth?
- Entertainment Value - Are you getting into the music and entertaining the crowd? Do you feel the song you're singing?
- Crowd Reaction - Does the crowd like the song? Are they getting into it? Are they clappng - or cheering - when it's over?
- Song Selection - Does the song fit your voice? Does it fit your style?
