Wander into this neighborhood bar and you'll find: priced-right beer, pool and a full night's worth of characters to meet and keep you amused. A feisty blonde often handles the drinks and the atmosphere is simple and comfortable, the people friendly.You’ll find a fully-stocked bar, surrounded by advertising signs for the upcoming events. Stools at the bar--so worn the woods feels soft--are the spinning kind. Yippee!

Karaoke night is “womaned” by Tina, owner of Soundwaves Karaoke & DJ Service. There is a huge collection of songs to choose from and if she doesn’t have “it” ask her! She will probably come in the next week with the song you so dearly wanted to sing last week.

Monday and Tuesday nights are reserved for karaoke at the Down Under. The show starts at 8:00 and runs ‘till 11:00. Right now, there’s a $1000 contest in the works - if you can sing, you need to be here! All you have to lose is... well nothing! You might just win a pretty good chunk of change! I experienced my first night of Down Under's karaoke on Monday this week. Man, I'll tell you what... Tina is AMAZING!! A great night... definitely a MUST DO for karaoke fans.
